How You Can Help

St. Camillus Center is a 100% volunteer run organization. The center is engaged in income generation projects to help us become self-sustainable. However we cannot win the fight against HIV alone! We are very grateful to our friends who have helped us grow and win battles in the fight against HIV/AIDS:

His Honorable Bishop Sebastian Khoarai, OMI
Holy Cross Convent and Sr. Provincial Isadora Damane
Tacoma Lesotho Connection & Teresa Power-Drutis
Netherlands Lesotho Foundation
Irish Aid
South African Catholic Bishop's Conference
Holy Cross sisters of Germany, especially Sr. Fransiska
Global Fund
St. Clare Clinic in Lesotho

The Center is a valuable resource for the residents of Mohale's Hoek. We would appreciate any help that you may provide us with! Here are some suggestions of how you can assist us:

  • Volunteer - We love volunteers! We need assistance in our office but there are many other opportunities to help!
  • Petrol: The Center uses its vehicle to transport patients to hospitals and conduct its many workshops. The cost of petrol is our largest expense.
  • Seeds: St. Camillus trains people to create and maintain household gardens to put food on the table for their families.
  • New site building costs: The center serves hundreds of people through a very small headquarters. We would like to expand to include a new Orphaned and Vulnerable Children (OVC) Center in addition to accommodating the work that we currently do.
